100th Fighter Squadron
The 100th Fighter Squadron is the second squadron added to the 1st Air Expeditionary Wing. Stood up in January of 2022, the "Red Tails" are the wing's SEAD, CAP, and Sweep specialists.

The 100th FS trains for the following missions:

Offensive Counter Air (OCA)

Suppression/Destruction of Enemy Air Defenses (SEAD/DEAD)

Close Air Support (CAS)
Training
The 100th FS training program is multiple modules isolating skills necessary to be an F-16 Pilot, from basic airmanship to weapons employment. New pilots are expected to bring working knowledge of their aircraft and be able to conduct a cold start, taxi, takeoff, and landing.
